Hello list,

We have a standby database for one of bank critical database. Unfortunately,
when we added a datafile to the production database, there was no space left on
standby database server and oracle couldn't create the file on standby
server and alter log says the following:
==
File #194 added to control file as 'UNNAMED00194'. Originally created as:
'/u2camm1/oradata/SYMP/SYMPperfstat03.dbf'
Recovery was unable to create the file as:
'/u2camm1/oradata/SYMP/SYMPperfstat03.dbf'
Sun Aug 28 09:42:21 2005
MRP0: Background Media Recovery terminated with error 1274

Some recovered datafiles maybe left media fuzzy
Media recovery may continue but open resetlogs may fail
